High School Diploma or GED Certificate.

Associate's Degree in Construction Technology preferred.

8 years construction experience.

5 years supervisory experience.

3 years in Construction Management.

Valid Driver's License (subject to motor vehicle review).



Oversees the personnel; time approval, hiring, training, measureable performance.

Develop measurable performance expectations for assigned projects according to department goals and objectives.

Analyzes and resolves work problems. Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.

Assigns staff daily duties and evaluates performance of workers. Follows up on status and projects of jobs.

Develops work-around procedures for maintain crew productivity during delays caused by other trades, customer, lack of materials, absenteeism, etc.

Knowledge of new housing construction and renovations.

Coordination of construction operation and sequence.

Communication between subcontractors and administration.

Must be able to do assessments and give recommendations.

Experience in layout of building and structures.

Estimating construction materials and man-hours.

Knowledge and generating of monthly schedule and reporting.

Experience and knowledgeable in building codes and implementing into action.

Complete building housing and renovations in timely manner.

Perform safety meetings on daily basis.

Interpret blueprints and project specification for construction.

Monitors quality assurance and ensures installations meet customer specifications and industry standards.

Reports, coordinates, keep daily logs, and supervises all aspects of a project.

Ensures all projects are completed within established timeframes, within budget and in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations and policies related to construction management and contract administration.

Assists with the needs assessments for all construction projects, supplementary cost estimates and reviews, for justification, any and all shop drawings and scope of work submittals for the program.

Assures the completion of construction projects within time schedules and budget requirements.

Receives work orders and assures they are completed.

Prepares and maintains records and files of reports as required.

Designs and constructs building modifications as necessary.

Coordinates with contractors and engineers on construction and repair.

Maintains inventory of supplies and equipment.

Keeps all supplies and equipment in a safe and well-controlled area.

Maintains current working knowledge of trends in construction and maintenance.

Oversees workmanship and approvals.

Setup survey equipment translate into elevation per site plans.

Ensures jobsites are safe for employee and public.

Performs other duties as assigned.
