Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or Equivalent.

3 years of current, professional level experience implementing and maintaining enterprise wide applications, databases, servers, and technical support.

1 year experience of Automated Metering Infrastructure components.

Requires a Valid Driver's License (subject to motor vehicle record review).



Perform system management support and technical functions for AMI enterprise applications ensuring 100% uptime.

Maintains and monitors enterprise systems performance using diagnostic and management software. Compile statistics for performance benchmarks.

Communicates issues to business units responsible for troubleshooting devices in the field.

Communicates with service and maintenance entitles to determine the cause of system equipment failure and applies repairs and fixes.

Plans and directs applying updates, upgrades, conversions and migrations. Research new development in system hardware and software and impacts of changes into the systems. Coordinates with AMI System Administrator or System Administrators for synchronization of updates and upgrades of integrating systems.

Follows IT policies and procedures.

Maintains system documentation, procedures and software inventories.

Assist with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of AMI enterprise systems.

Assist in performing daily monitoring of metering communication levels ensuring that all meters are communicating with the collection devices and the AMI landscape.

Ensure system high availability and all functions related to AMI enterprise system.

Is available to be on-call 24/7.

Trains and transfers knowledge to AMI team.

Ability to work in team environment, to work under pressure and to be punctual.

Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
